Hey all,
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help...my question is pretty simple as well..so hopefully I can get a quick answer...
I just bought the Sony DRU-510a INTERNAL DVD burner (FOR PC) (got a decent deal so I went with this 4x unit over the 8x models...don't really need the expense of 8x media...)
I'm going to buy an EXTERNAL FW/USB2 case for about $40 somewhere...if you have any leads please let me know as I havent' done my shopping yet for this...
So my question is this: after putting the internal DVD burner into an external FW case, what SOFTWARE FOR MAC can i use to burn DVD's for when i have it hooked up to either my powermac G4 Sawtooth or my Powerbook 667 DVI? It will also get used on my PC that I built, so hence the purchase of the PC version (and I got a decent deal), but now I need software to run the burner from the mac...and if possible..I DONT want to buy Toast Titanium...too much money for such a simple program...so is there a freeware or shareware app, or some other cheapie doositallfornuthin program

that can simply burn data to DVDs reliably using the Sony DRU-510a?
Oh yeah...I'm using Panther 10.3.2 and OS 9.2.2 as well. I'd love a program that worked in both OS's, but anything that supports either one, OS 9 or OS X is fine...
THANK you for your help with this...I just don't have a lot of time lately to research the web like I normally do, so I'd love to hear from someone that knows more than I do...(which probably means almost everyone in the world...heh)
Sincerely,
Pixel Pete
