I have a 1 gig VPC 6 disk image that is full. It was created as a dynamically expanding drive, but I set the llimit at 1 gig. Now I need more space.

Unfortunately, for some reason I cannot get the drive to mount on the Mac desktop so I can just drag copy all the files to my new (and empty) 5 gig VPC drive image. My other secondary drive images mount when double-clicked, but not my primary drive image. I am sure that the OS is shut down and all the changes have been saved, so that's not the problem.

I've tried to use the DOS XCOPY command, but I can't get it to work, no doubt because I am clueless about DOS.

I don't own Ghost, or any other such cloning utilites for Windows.

Can someone post the steps I need to take to get -all- the files in my C drive copied to my D drive so the D drive will be bootable?

Thanks!!

OK, I know VPC fairly well (or so I thought) but I can't figure out how to change the max size of dynamcially expanding drive. Could you please clue me in?
