iPhoto finally made 1.0 (with version4)!!
On a... 533 Digital Audio G4, 64MB GeForce4MX, 768MB... I dumped 5000 4MP pictures (canon S400 source) into it.

Scrolling entire library was smooth and responsive, resizing entire album thumbnails was fast and responsive. SHOCKING!

I wish the program wouldn't quit when I close the main window though.

Rendezvous picture sharing is way cool and isn't all that slow, even over my 802.11b network at home.

Overall this feels like a very solid 1.0 release... seems like iPhoto has been in beta forever!

I cancelled my .Mac back in October, sorry, can't check it.

The copy I have does nothing when I hit the order prints button.

I prefer dotPhoto for ordering prints. You can also use transmit to FTP your pictures to them which I find preferable to the automated way iPhoto does it. I like uploading my picts and then going to their website to set up my order... the order prints process in iPhoto isn't great in my opinion and I've used it a couple times so I can compare.
