For me, Word X has enough features. I don't need audio notes etc.
I think it is much more important that Word feels like a true Mac OS X application. I always miss three features every good OS X app should have:
1.) Support for long filenames (Word supports 31 characters max.)
2.) Support for importing PDF graphics with high-resolution printing.
3.) Full support for Unicode.
All "true" OS X apps like OmniGraffle include these three features. I could possibly understand if Microsoft doesn't want to support 2) because that feature would be OS X - only, but 1) and 3) are already supported on Windows since Word 95 and 97, respectively!
Has anyone been at Macworld and asked some people from Microsoft if (some of) these features will be included in Word 2004 for Mac?
