I'd like to hyperlink, or just link in some way, to another document on my HD - ie

"Luke's Christology (cf. work on Mark's Christology )"

Can it be done?

Easily.

Insert>Hyperlink (command-K)
Click the Documents tab of the Hyperlink dialog.
Click the Select button.
Locate the second document in the file dialog.
Enter the Display name for the link.
(Optionally enter Screen Tip)
Click OK.
