i'm looking for DJ software for OSX, it doesnt have to be freeware. it can be shareware. I would like it to be a nice interface like "Mplay" but alittle less buggy...I used Mplay in OS9 and it was a great shareware app and did everything i needed. The OSX version is basically the same interface, but does have some problems. I am running it on an ibook 300mhz using OSX 10.2.3 Maybe it is the slow processor on the ibook? oh well, anyways, please give me your suggestions
thanks

A quick MacUpdate search yielded these results. I've never used any of them so I can't recommend anything. But there's enough there to play with.

I have to vote with MegaSeg. It's awsome! A tad high at just under $200, but worth every penny.

i tried disco for osx and i am still having the asme choppy sound when the crossfade kicks in, i am leaning towards the fact the processor isnt fast enough to handle the load or there isnt enough ram,(128mb) or sound card isnt good enough in the ibook to handle it. i am going to try the same software on a friends imac 400dv and see what happens. i believe that itunes has a crossfade option too doesnt it? (i'm at work right now on a <gasp!> compaq evo....eeewwww)

That was the name of the bloody app!!! I downloaded it awhile ago and deleted it b/c I never used it but couldn't remember the name. It certainly had a lot of buttons to push.

Yeah Traktor DJ is what I use, megaseg is good and fun to play with but if you want to get serious you should give Traktor a try, it's expensive but worth the price.
