How do I stop the dreaded MICROSOFT DATABASE DAEMON

Hi,
I've installed Office.Everytime I start up my computer it loads at least one instance of the Microsoft Database Daemon, once I foudn 4 of these in my startup items.How do I stop the dreaded MICROSOFT DATABASE DAEMON ? Everytime I remove it from my startup items it comes right back
