Garageband Doesn't Remember Window Size or Placement?

Does any one else have this problem? It's like how iCal 1.0 was when it was first released. Every time I close Garageband and reopen it, it reverts to a smaller window and a little off the screen to the right...anyone else?

It appears that window placement prefs are saved with the project.

New projects use the default, but saved projects remember window settings. I haven't found a way to set the default prefs globally.

I'm not too sure I like the way GB quits when you close a project. At the least, it would be cool if you got a dialog asking what you'd like to do.
