How exactly will discs (DVDs and CDs) burnt in iPhoto 2 work in the new iPhoto, considering that the library format is new? The library on one's computer is automatically updated upon the first launch of new iPhoto software, but since a disc can only be written onto once (in iPhoto, at least) how will the software be able to accomplish updating (or does it need to)?

Thanks!

The disks I made in iPhoto 3 worked perfectly in iPhoto 4.

They appeared as they did before as a photo album, and I have to saw they also work very quick from the CD as well.

I actually put them on CD to make iPhoto 3 faster, so with the great speed improvements in iPhoto 4 I put them all back.

All you need to do is drag the Film rolls you want back into the Photo Library and iPhoto does the rest.

You get the originals as well so you can revert right back to the photos you imported from the camera in the first place.

I have now got nearly 5000 photos loaded and I have seen no reduction in speed at all.

Great product.

OK I forgot that Apple misssed iPhoto 3, but the above applies to iPhoto 2 to 4.

It works fine with CD / DVD's
