apple mail 1.3.2 has been eating cpu when i'm doing a very specific thing with it. i didn't notice this until i upgraded to 1.3.2 (however long ago that was) and it persists through a full system wipe.

i have 1 imap account and 1 pop account. in total there are probably 60 or so folders between the two with the overwhelming majority being on the imap account.

with the drawer open (showing folders), whenever i move the view up or down, either using the scroll whell on my mouse or the scroll bar, cpu usage goes to 100% and it takes a full second or two for mail to react, and when it does it's totally jerky. a few seconds after i stop scrolling cpu goes back to normal.

any ideas?

thanks,
andrew davidoff
