Still waiting for my copy of Garage Band, i figured i might ask if anyone has tried to connect the guitar to Garage Band via a Line6 POD 2 or a Behringer V-AMP 2?

It should work fine although it won't be necessary. I've found the amp modeling to be pretty good and the great thing about it is that you can adjust the settings on the guitar amp and effects AFTER you have recorded the track.

Listen to that track. During much of the song I have the same guitar track (recorded once) but using 2 different amp models, each one panned opposite. I think it sounds great (don't know about the rest of the song). Using any external amp model or effects hardware would prevent you from mucking around with this as I have.
