Hi all,
Am I missing something? Steve used a Choir sample on stage when showing off GB, but I only found it under "Real Instruments", not "Software Instruments". Is there one under Software?

Anybody know what it's called? I have the Jam Pack but haven't ran across it yet...

I'll check again...

I found the "Vocals" button in the loop browser (which only shows up if you drag up between the record button and the sicors), but there is only one entry there, and it's not a choir...

Interestingly enough, there were a number of loops that I could not locate using the GB browser, but I discovered them after indexing the GB loops in Soundtrack. I havn't gone back to look harder, but I'm pretty sure there was only five orchestra loops when I looked in GB, but I have more than ten in Soundtrack.

From what I understand there are a few places to get loops from... You can get them from "ACID" if you convert them to Apple Loops using the Soundtrack Loop Utility (which you can get free)...

Soundtrack Pro itself has many loops which are fully compatible... You need to manually add them, however, as GB is not smart enough to go look for them...

I read elsewhere that it's best to move your soundtrack loops folder to Library > Application Support > Garage Band > Apple Loops and then drag the folder to the loops pane of the GB window. This way GB will index them only. If the Soundtrack Loops are outside of this location, they will be coppied, then indexed (wasting space)... Apparently it's easy to get Soundtrack to recognize the new location (as well as probably being able to add the rest of the GB loops to it's library)...

Chorus is an effect on any track. Double click the track name on the left and then click the arrow on the bottom of the dialog that pops up. Then choose chorus as an effect.
