Create EXIF header for scanned JPG?

	I'm scanning some old photo's on my scanner, but those JPG's don't contain EXIF info. I would like to create a EXIF header for them and set the appropriate dates (and preferable the file creation date as well). On Windows there is a program called "Exifer" that does this. Now I'm looking for a Mac alternative. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.
