hello all,
Extensis Suitcase just decided to crash yesterday and now won't start anymore.
I've trashed it, the preference folder, purged the cache files, restarted and reinstalled.
(Talking about version 10.2.2) I'm running Panther 10.3.2.
When it starts it immediately crashes. There's nothing I can do right now and it's driving me insane. Anyone have any idea what to do?

Same ting happened to me- except the installer said something along the lines of 'no active system folder on the machine' and quit. the only way around it was to copy the installed app off of another machine at work, and drop it in the applications file. (you might want t back up your extensis prefs, otherwise it loses all your font sets- check the prefixes extensis, suitcase, and com.extensis- there is a few files to do, but I'm not too sre which ones.

remove both the com.extensis.suitcase.plist file and the Suitcase
Preferences folder your 'home': Library: Preferences. Also make sure you do
not have any extraneous fonts in your system. To clear these out, empty the
Hard Drive: Library: Fonts folder as well as the Users: yourname: Library:
Fonts, remove all fonts except the following 5 from your System
Folder/Fonts, Charcoal, Chicago, Geneva, Monaco and New York (We not
recommend modifying the System: Library: Fonts folder). Next search all
local drives for the 'AdobeFnt' and trash all files you find. Then reboot
your
computer.

Egads!
A font app crashes and the only way to fix it is to trash the "extraneous" fonts?
