Hi,

The release of Corel Draw 12 has been announced but it seems only for Wintel. I hope that Corel Draw will be available to Mac for the future since it is still an interesting alternative to the other programs. Does naybody have any insights whether Corel will still publish Mac software? Thanks,

That's right. I made a post on this a while back. Corel doesn't develop Draw or Photopaint for the Mac anymore.

This is not necessarily a bad thing as Corel's own products are of extraordinarily bad quality. In fact the only product that Corel has which is really outstanding is Corel Painter, which they will carry on developing as it is mainly used by Mac people.

If you want an alternative to Corel Draw, the only alternative at the moment is Deneba Canvas, which has a much improved interface in version 9.
