I am have problems with ti connect and execl for mac and thought this might be the place to ask the question. Here is the deal, now that I have loaded ti connect (a small software package that allows Texas Instrument calucalator to be commuincate with a computer though the usb port) whenever I right click in excel I get a new drop down menu that is built on top of the last drop down menu. Eventually I have a drop down menu that is huge. Hopefully, this make sense to someone out there that know whats up with this problem.

Ok you're going to have to be more clear about exactly what you're doing and what the problem is.
From what you've said, your problem is entirely with Excel. When you right click, the contextual menu keeps duplicating itself. It's unclear how this relates to your TI Connect program.
If, as I suspect, this TI Connect is some sort of Excel plug-in or something, please explain what it's supposed to do.
If it's just another program you have loaded, does the Excel problem go away when you uninstall TI Connect?
What system/hardware/software versions are you using/running?

TI Calc installs a contextual menu.
I've never seen this problem though.

The reason I think it is TI connect problem is because on the second, third, and every consecutive right clicks after that TI connect is one of the options in the every growing drop down menu. Second, I just recently installed TI connect and there was no problem before TI connect was installed. I have not try uninstalling TI connect but I will try it tonight. To further explain the problem nothing in the new drop down portion works ie. copy, paste, or format cells. You must go to the bottom of the entire list, which gets really long fast, to get to the working functions. Hopefully this is a better description of the problem. Furthermore, TI connect is not a plug-in for excel it is a piece of communication software for the TI calculator
My system is a single G4 1.25GHz running OS 10.3 and the only extra hardware it is a printer, and the TI calculator. The single G4 is all stock.

The uninstalling of the TI connect software fixed the problem thanks. I will have to contact Texas Instruments and let them know that they have a problem or what appears to be a problem. Sorry about the poor description of the problem but it was pretty weird.

I haven't used Ti connect on a Mac since I only have a grey serial cable but I have been using TI graphing calcs for about 7 years now and I can assure you their computer (ie. not calc) software has always been of pretty poor quality and buggy. They are also pretty slow to update so don't expect anything too soon. If Ti Connect installs a contextual menu item you might be able to remove it (they normally live in ~/Library/Contextual Menu Items or /Library/Contextual Menu Items) and leave the rest of the program there and it might not cause issues with Excel.
