If your buddies are in your Address Book they ought to show up in iChat no matter what screen name you use. Other than that I'm not really positive how to share buddies between different AIM names. I've been wanting to do the same thing.
i figured the address book would work but i don't have any of them set up and i'm not in the mood to sit and do them all
did i find the only downfall in my PC mac switch last month? someone fix it! lol

Can't you just export them from the "real" AIM application under your old user name and then import them under your new name? That will make the change on the server side of things and then iChat will take on those buddies...
