I want to make a tour of my room using QuickTime(QuickTime VR). However I don't have a Mac, but a PC can this still be done?

Have a look at PTGui for PC, which is based on Helmut Dershs' awesome Panorama Tools, available for Mac.

Alternatively, check out PanoWeaver, also for PC and Mac.

There are lots more, too.
