I installed windows media player 9 on my powerbook g4 and this thing will not uninstall.. I've been looking everywhere for a solution and i can't find any. Please.. if you have a "REAL" solution.. please inform. I thought you could just drag and drop into trash can but it says it won't delete certain files because they are locked. on a pc.. all you have to do is run add/remove programs and done.. what is going on here? Is this thing now forever stuck on this machine? Please help.

If you want to delete files that are locked just throw them in the trash and press & hold the alt/option key while choosing "empty trash" from the Finder menu. That overrides and deletes locked files.

I LOVE YOU and i don't use those words easily... Twilly Spree has made my month! oh.. btw.. have you guys heard of a band called Helmet? I just got the most AMAZING CD EVER! Helmet just released their BEST OF album with all remastered tracks and i'm more of a happy man! thanks again Twilly and get that cd too and you can share my enjoyment!
