There is an OSX windows media player for .wmv files and it works great on my Ghz 17" Apple laptop:

Works great playing my downloaded keyboard lessons.

Uh, yeah! Wow!

There's also an OS X editor for .doc files and it works OK (except for interface annoyances) on my G4/450 dual!

Let's start a thread about it!

And ... there's a free OS X Real Media player for .rm files that works great also on G3 and G5 Macs:

It will even play .ra files.

I think it's great these companies support the Mac. If they didn't it would be another reason not to own one.

Works great huh? It works like crap on my G3/400 but MPlayer or VLC will play the same files (not 9 series) considerably better.

I found an MPlayer browser plug-in for Linux, does any such thing exist for Mac OS X?

The WMP plug-in managed to crash Safari and Camino at the same point in a video but I bet it works fine on Windows.

What garbage.

So are those damn .txt files and .html files. I mean, every damn website I visit has at least one .html file. This sucks.

Oh, that's easy. There's this really reliable and ultra-fast app called Internet Explorer...or something like that.
