I'm having problems playing some DVDs. Right now, it seems to happen on the Band of Brothers and Sex and the City DVDs (both from HBO).

I don't remember having this problem with Jaguar, only Panther.

When DVD Player gets to the episode selection menu for the DVD, it says:

"The application DVD Player has unexpectedly quit."

I have tried deleting the preferences files for DVD Player, but that hasn't helped. I also reinstalled Panther, but that didn't work.

I tried to play the DVDs on VLC. If I skip the menu, the DVDs will play fine for a while. Then they will start freezing.

Has anyone else had this problem? It would just be nice to know that I'm not the only one going through this

Many other DVDs seem to work fine. I don't know what's wrong with these ones.
