I am quite pleased to say that I've finally gotten a nice permament blog solution online. It was mainly from this treadh I got the inspiration to fix something for my self. It's a Blosxom powered blog, and I am very satisfied with the simplisity of it.

So what blog software/solution do you prefer? And why?

Cheers.

I use iBlog which I received for free with .mac.

I have found it very easy to use with my iDisk.

I am currently using iblog, which is working wonderfully for me. I have used Moveable Type, and although it is quite nice, I think iblog is better because it is a mac specific program.

Movabletype gets my vote:

The main reason I use it is because it runs server side, so I can update it on any machine that has web access.

I have to agree with you guys. iBlog is very nice. I've used it for a while.
One tip though; Use backup to schedule the pref files and the data folder to your .Mac account. Or use a tip mentioned in macosxhints about saving your data and pref files directly on .Mac with a special nix like link from your library folder.
I've lost the iBlog data once and didn't manage to restore them unfortunately. So for me an online solution seems more practical for me atleast. I just type my new post and upload them with ssh through BBEdit. Not as user friendly as with iBlog, but easy enough to bother keep the blog up to date.
