Hey Everyone,
Today i'm ready to order my iLife '04 and i just had a few GarageBand questions before I do the final step of ordering. I'm basically buying iLife for GB and i want to use to to be my recording studio for my band to make our new "CD demo".
I had some ideas
1. Can i use that 1/4 to microphone adapter to use my guitar to record a track? also how is the distortion? thats basically all i'll use.

2. Can i plug the drum mics into my powered mixer and use a RCA cable to microphone to send the drums to my iBook on another track? (my mixer has a RCA OUT)

3. Could i do my second question for vocals?

4. How is the overall sound of a production of this sort?
