came across this earlier and wondered wat people here thought.
personaly i would use iTunes if i could (been in europe and all) because i dont want to steal music which is what this site seems to be promoting except for the fact that once or twice they have put in "send the artist money" to sweeten up the read by the artists.
they state things that imply the musicians are unhappy with the deal. i am sure that there are but i have never heard that most are unhappy.

Yeah, that's been out for awhile now...I don't agree with what they are promoting...

They complain that iTunes doesn't pay enough to artists...and then encourage folks to download music via p2p, because, you know, that'll give so much money to musicians.

My view is... Apple isn't the bad guy... It's more the record company. The guys that made this site are LAME.

I would rather the band make a dime vs. nothing. Also, Apple had to put a ton of cash up to get iTMS going, and there was no guarantee that it would work (to be honest, there still isn't). Naturally they should make a bit of cash as well.
