I was wondering if anyone has bought prints from iPhoto yet?

How was the quality?

How much is shipping?

I'm unable to find any information about this, as I've yet to use this feature.

Thanks

I bought some 5x7s. They were high enough quality for me. You just need to make sure your pictures are a high enough res to print at the size you want. According to the iPhoto information it says that shipping is $2.99. All the pricing info is listed there too.

Bottomline, I do prints via iPhoto again.

thanks for the link!

For the shipping, is it $2.99 for the whole package? or upto a certain amount? [don't have apple account to 'sign in' in iPhoto]

i've ordered a few hundred prints from iphoto (thank you apple for the .mac/free prints promo a while back ), and printed up 3 copies of a single 11 page book with them. the book's photos didn't turn out ideally -- pixelation is visible even though the originals were of high resolution -- but the prints look fine and dandy. when printing 8x10 i use my own printer, however, and do it right with 16 bit files, photoshop and matched profiles, rather than sending an 8 bit jpeg off to the kodak/ofoto black hole.

even better: i shoot raw on my canons (s30, d30) so can tweak around white balance and exposure in conversion, using adobe camera raw. and when i print for real i convert again at 16 bits -- otherwise i stick to 8 bits, save for web before exporting to iphoto, since iphoto is not color managed.
