does charla work now or not or chit chat. I have no luck with any version and any program. I need a program to connect me to yahoo chat rooms.

i used to use these...but havnt in some time. charla quit working i believe. chit chat did work, but yahoo changed their damn protocols again a few days ago so it may be broken again.
if they arnt working for you...thats probably the case.
they do have a web client that is web based that works under OS X. its not as nice, but it works.

i believe web messenger can access the chat rooms. open web messenger and click the "chat" button. it will bring up a page letting you access the different rooms.

trying it in safari the chat button doesnt work. leave it to yahoo to deny mac users (yet again) of their chat rooms. i swear that thing used to work.
i dont know why yahoo act like a bunch of terd mongers when it comes to their chat rooms.
