I have 3 cd's of .wav files I want to listen to/burn, but for some reason the files have ID3 tags which makes QT think they're corrupted.

I can run VPC, rename them to .mp3 and run the app TagScan and then remove the tags, but that way is sloooow...

Is there a way to do it on OS X? I havn't found any app that can do that.

thanks!

Have you tried just changing the extension yourself in the Finder? Simply delete the ID3 tag and manually type in .WAV on the files. The OS will prompt you if you want to change from "ID3 to WAV" and just say yes....

Or am I missing something else here?

Come on gorickey... you have a post count of 5031 and should know the difference between an ID3 tag and a filename extension.
