iChat 2.1 on a Tibook 667???

i posted this in the official ichat 2.1 thread but it got ignored, so let's try it here.
Basically, the installer program tells me that it cannot be installed on this computer...which is odd as it seems to meet the requirements.
Any suggestion as to why this may be?

Did you maybe move or delete the original iChat? Apple's installers can be picky about this sometimes.

....never mind....i quit ichat, but i forgot to set it to 'offline' in the menu extension....
doing that let it install....
my bad.

No, not your bad. If the installer requires that, it should have told you (or go offline itself).
