how come when I go to certain web sites it will close on me for example findapix.com would be a example. Is it just safri or apple.

I think it's Safari. I use OmniWeb and Mozilla on some of the websites I have problems with and they read fine with those two browsers.

Remember to submit bug reports to Apple for sites that don't seem to be working properly (click the "bug" button in the toolbar or select "Report Bugs to Apple" from the Safari menu).
The recent Safari update fixed issues with 2 sites that I reported trouble with, so Apple does listen!
