OK

I audiohijack a program that runs till 1:30 am every night.

I go to bed before midnight.

I don't want my Powerbook running all night after the program is done recording.

I need a program (perhaps, a Macro) that would put the computer to sleep until I can use it again the next day, say, at 1:35 AM.

Any ideas?

I know the OS has the option to put computer to sleep after a certain amount of time, but I need it to go to sleep a a SET time.

Are you using 10.3?

System Preferences/Energy Saver/Schedule/ ... you can then set your computer to shutdown or sleep at a set time.

thanks! i just saw it - before I thought you could only shut it down and start at set times, but I see there's a "sleep" option there now!

Another cool feature of Panther I just discovered.

OS X gets better with every release.

I, however, just found a program called Power Manager and it has more option - you can set certain days of the week (say, Su-Fr) and it can start up every morning waking you up with a random ITunes song! Pretty neat if you ask me.
