My wife's isync seems to have stopped working. We both have our own .mac accounts that we sync to our own local accounts. The problem is that her .mac account seems to have stopped syncing with her address book. If she enters in a new address or changes one in her local AB, it doesn't change on her .mac AB. It also doesn't get updated on her Treo 300. I tried resetting all devices to her local AB, but that doesn't work either. When she logs into her .mac AB, it asks if she wants to reset and even if she says yes, it doesn't update to her local AB. It seems to be stuck on some old AB somewhere. Her local AB has 138 contacts, but her .mac AB has 133. Mine seems to work fine.

Any ideas?

Since your part works fine, it shouldn't be a problem with the OS, or with the basic iSync software. That leaves the settings in your wife's identity, and the settings in her .Mac account.

If the entries in her local address book are current (you said there were about 5 more there than in her .Mac address book), it might be best to wipe out the .Mac address book completely and start over. I know, "Ouch!"-but that may be what it takes if that account is acting screwy.

I tried that by resetting all devices, but it just goes back to the out of date 133 contacts rather than the current one in her local AB. I also tried backing up her local AB, wiping it, and reverting it. It seems to do this okay, but it still doesn't update her .mac account.

I noticed that when syncing it always says that it is syncing to Backup Conduit. I'm not sure what this is since I turned off her palm syncing. Anyone know what the Backup Conduit is?

this happened to me too. What i did to fix it was....

1)Export all contacts
2)DELETE addressbook DB file (its in the user library
3)reimport all the contacts from step one.

These steps worked for me..
