Hi,
My wife keeps forgetting to tick the "send windoze friendly attachments' box when sending email with attachments.
Is there any way we can set things up so that this is the default?
Thanks! :-)
Simon

Thanks PurpleGiant - I'd missed that one too. Although, in my defence, I think it should be in the preferences !

Well you can also put a check in the Send Windows Friendly Attachments box when you select the file to be attached.

I guess I don't understand why this is even an option? Why not default behavior?

I've had the same question. We have options for more and less compatible, and it defaults to less? Has anyone ever seen anything bad happen from sending Windows friendly attachments to non-Win folks?
