Hey, I have around 40 Gigs of mp3s on my hard drive, and iTunes has worked smooth before, but over the last 2 days I haven't been able to open the application. I have Mac OS X 10.3.2, and iTunes 4.2. The error I keep getting before the app opens is:

"The iTunes Music Library file cannot be read because it does not appear to be a valid library file."

After that pops up, I click ok and the app quits. Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Sounds like something got corrupted. I'd backup all your MP3s and then run Disk Utility to see what it reports. Might not hurt to delete the iTunes preference file to see if that's corrupt, also.
