I used thunderbird to access a POP3 account, but all I get is a message asking me if I want to upgrade to a better account, and I don't receive any of my real mail. Is it the server's fault, or a limitation of thunderbird?
Why don't you try Mail , any other e-mail client or an online POP3 checker? You can set it so that mail is not deleted from the server when fetched, so you still get all the mail again when using Thunderbird again (and the online POP3 checkers always behave like this anyway).
