Lately I have noticed that VPC 6.0 continuously reduces my HD free space while it is running. It has used as much as 1.5 GB of drive space during a 15 minute session. The Undo drives option is turned off, and my actual computer has 512M RAM and the VPC is set to use 386 MB RAM (The optimum suggested by VPC). Once I quit VPC, about a minute later all my space somes back. Does this thing use an insane amount of temp file space?

Yes, 512 minus 386 = 126mb of RAM left over for OS X and Virtual PC (plus whatever else you might be running). It is probably swapping to disk like crazy. If it really bothers you, try giving Windows less RAM. Virtual PC runs like a dog anyway so you probably won't notice much difference, but you will most likely stop swapping to disk so much.

More than 256MB RAM allocated to VPC is useless, even running XP. What OS are you running?
