Running iphoto on a blue G4 tower 450mhz 512 ram with Panther I was hoping to see a big performance improvement with iphoto 4. Its still real slow on this machine. Anyone have the same experience. Anything I can do to significantly improve performance short of buying a new mac?

Thanks

I have a Sawtooth 400Mhz with 512MB of RAM and I did notice a huge increase in speed indeed.

I cannot add much more than that... I just updated and now I can scroll through the whole library at a decent speed and the like.
