Did fix the annoying font message at startup. Will try tomorrow to see if more than 8 tracks makes it huff and puff.

Are you all getting this update through Software Update or are you downloading it yourself?

For some reason, I'm not getting it through Software Update. The same thing is happening with Safari 1.2.

I don't think it was posted to SU, so you need to manually download...

Manual download last night...it may be on SU today.

Program seems to be running smoothly. But I cannot tell if its because I changed the setting to G3 "Improved Performance" (I have a powerbook G4) Or if its a legitimate fix. I have changed it back to G4 (as Id imagine it should be) and will see what happens.

It seems the wording has changed...now it says "Max. number of tracks during playback" for the "G3" setting and "minimum delay when recording live tracks" for the G4 setting. Interesting...Thats essentially what apple said in their knowledge base article on the subject of alert messages "Hd too slow" etc.

20 MB for that?!?!?
