Hi
I've found some archives of a live show by an artist I like on an online radio station. You can only stream the material, I can't download it. Do any of you guy know how, or know any software that will allow my mac to record what is streaming, with view to making it into MP3 audio or allow me to copy it to a CD for personal use.
Thanks very much in advance.

You can use Wiretap from our friends at Ambrosia sw which will make it an AIFF file then you can convert to MP3 or whatever in iTunes or you can get Audio HiJack and record them directly as MP3.

Thanks! I have already downloaded WireTap and will work with it over the weekend. May also try HiJack. Surely with these, I can do what I am looking to do. Thanks again!

You can also do this with Snapz Pro X, if you only save the audio track from a movie you record.

I just posted a new version of Streamers that might suit your needs. It allows you to record, and schedule for later recording lists of streams. You can also check it out on versiontracker.

Thanks, everybody! I did use WireTap and got the show I wanted, then iTunes to convert to mp3. Nest step is burning to CD, which I plan to do in the next few minutes, using Toast, I guess. I have downloaded Streamers, and can't wait to play with that! Streamers is exactly what I was originally looking for, though WireTap served my purpose. thanks again!!!
