I tried to install the iChat 2.1 Beta on my Dad's sawtooth G4. After the installation, I had to restart the G4.. after that, the iChat icon disappeared but turned to a blue folder with a small arrow icon (Pointing to south) .. I couldn't open the Ichat??? How can I get back to 2.0 or I'm afraid to install 2.1 again after the repair?

It's it because of old G4 or what?? I think it shouldn't be a problem after the installation?? BTW< it's on 10.3.2... Or it's Beta ??

No... I think it is a *really* buggy beta. Won't work correctly on my G5 either. Friends of mine have had probs too. Don't install ;-)

Apple shouldn't have released it... IMO
