How do you reinstall iChat AV?
I did not buy the stand alone CD since I bought Panther but I have not found a way to install it without doing a whole system install on top of the existing OS. The beta of the new version was horrible and I had to delete everything iChat to get rid of it. Now I am without the program and my Panther install CDs have not yielded a solution.

The beta - like the 2.0 beta - has a "Revert to iChat AV 2.0" command in the application menu, and you should have used that!

Maybe you can run still run /Library/Application Support/iChatAV20Pan.pkg by hand if that's the restore package. If not you need to use Pacifist to install iChat AV and the instant message and video conference frameworks.
