Hi all.

I made my first DVD using iDVD this morning (a DVD of Xmas photos for my mother), and every time there's a transition from one photo to the next, the audio pauses. Can anyone help?

Cheers
Scott

[Edit: Could a mod please correct the typo in the title? It should be "pause," not "paude"]

I'm having exactly the same problem. Any closer to a fix?

Anyone know what this might be....

Memory?
Disk Space?
DVD Player compatibility?
Bug?
Type of transition? (Seems to be worse with the cube effect and not as bad with the dissolve)

Thanks in advance,

Jordan

Turns out the problem is the DVD player. I replaced my cheapie APEX with a nice Sony progressive scan, and the problem is gone. It's all for the best, I suppose, since now I'll quit thinking of DVD players as disposable.

Really??!!! I have a fairly good Pioneer DVD player. It was top of the line about 2 yrs ago.

I'll try the DVD on a few other DVD players and see if that's it. So you are saying that it is encoded and burning correctly...

Will start with the DVD drive in my two Macs and then get some mates to test it.

I'll post the results here...

Cheers,

Jordan

It's my DVD player. Bugger!!! That means I need to buy a new one.

Tried it on a mates Sony and it worked perfectly.

Oh well, looks like the family benefit from another one of my discarded toys....
