Has anyone figured a way to move the iPhoto library to another location and still have it work? I didn't use the previous versions of iPhoto for speed reasons as well as some other minor quirks.
I watched the MWSF Keynote and was impressed with iLife 4, so I bought it and thought I should give iPhoto another chance. Speed has increased significantly, but I have about 5 gigs of photos that I keep on an external 120gig FW HD. I don't want them on my internal drive as it is only 20gigs.

Can anyone help?

Cheers,
Bill

1. Quit Iphoto
2. Move the Entire iphoto library folder. Usually at ~/Pictures/ to the required location
3. when u start iPhoto 4 it will give you 3 options. Select "Find Library" and select the new location where you moved the Iphoto Library Folder.
4. Nothing more to do.
