I'm having a problem updating Quark to 6.1: the updater will start, run for a while, then quite after updating one file with an error. I have repaired permission and tried it as root, but with no avail.
Anyone else having this problem?

Yeah.
Great moniker, btw.

I have seen the same problem but on a illegal copy so I thought that might have had something to do with it. Sorry, I can't be any more help.

Crap.
Maybe I'll nuke Quark, reinstall and see if that helps.

Won't that require some kind of tricky reauthorization? I don't know the details but have heard sketchy comments about Quark 6 and authorization that have made me stick with version 4.1. Well, that and the price of upgrading. Sorry to wander off-topic.

No reauthorization is a breeze if you are connected to the internet. Run the installer, enter your code and you get the activation code automagically. You can do this as often as you please. Installing on a different machine would be a problem.

I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.
