So I am making a CD for the wife a few nights ago and at the same time, d/l'ing some tunes and the UT2k4 demo and surfing some other stuff. iTunes pops a message that says it ran out of buffer something-or-other and cant burn the disk. So, I check the preferences and it is set to burn at maximum possible speed. I lower that to 6x, quit the d/l's and all other apps except Safari. Start burning again, only to be presented with what must be only the second "coaster" I have ever made on a Mac (same error message). OK, fine, now quit everything, restart my iMac, set burn speed to 1x and try again, this time I leave the computer completely alone.... another coaster. This is rather out of the blue, although I did recently update to v4.2. Could that be related? Any ideas?

Also, I'm using the same CDR media I have always used without problem...(??)

Well, a buffer is basically RAM so there are probably some issues with that. Go back to maximum possible and see if that changes anything.
