ok, I'm new to macs and Office v.x. Since I'm a student, I have lots of Powerpoint presentations to print out. I've hit a snag though, with my old PC I was able to printt the slides with note lines to the right hand side, leaving me space to make notes in lectures. With the mac version, I can't seem to find this option?

Is this not possible with Macs? If so it's massively disappointing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is possible.

Choose Command-P, then go down to the pop-up meny with "copies & pages" on and choose "Microsoft Powerpoint". Then choose "Print what" and "handouts (3 slides per page". I do that all the time, and it works great.

But I've got a friend who has some problems with this issue as well...

You've got an M$ app that may not work quite like it does on Windows and this means the PC owns the mac?

Prints work fine for me however. Of course, I have no PC at the moment to compare it to...

I had issues with doing it that way--very big ppt shows and heavy graphics. I was able to work around it by printing to/saving as PDF first, then print the PDF file. Just an option for you if you have troubles.
