HI,
I am a relatively new mac user and have no experience with graphics. On my PC I had several programs that I could use to make greeting cards, certificates, labels etc. these were easy to use programs that basically had all the templates in place and I Just had to pick and choose what I wanted and perhaps make some very slight changes. I'd like to find the same type of program for my MAC. Does anyone know if something like this exists and where I can find it. I've been to several local computer stores in my area (staples, future shop, compucenter) and have had no luck in finding any software that works with MAC. As I mentioned earlier I have no experience working with graphics and would find publishing programs far too sophisticated for my needs. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

There are lots of those types of programs available for the Mac; just make sure that you get the right version (get software that says it'll run under "Classic" if you are using OS 9 and software that says it'll run under "OS X" if you are using OS X):

Also be sure to pay a visit to Versiontracker or MacUpdate which are two great places for finding Mac software. Just visit their sites, and type in "greeting cards" or "labels" or whatever other topics you'd like and they'll give you a list of relevant software matches.

Just a quick note to say thanks to everyone for making suggestions on simple card-making programs. I just purchased The Print Shop for Mac 0SX and so far I'm thrilled with it. Lots of templates, easy to use and user friendly.
