I have usb EPSON 820 printer hooked up to Airport Extreme Base Station. I can't open the "EPSON Printer Utility" and check out the ink status and nozzle clean up, you know? When I open the EPSON Printer Utility. It doesn't show my "Epson 820 Printer" even though the printer is turned on.
Thanks

You have to be directly connected to the printer to get the ink status using the Epson Utility.

Nope, not until Epson adds Rendezvous support to their utility.

Epson's upper end printers (the ones that network by themselves) do support things like this. Our Pro 7600 appears three times in the Epson Utility: AppleTalk, Epson IP, and Epson USB.

Do other printers have Rendezvous-enabled utilities? In other words, if I dump my C82 for a nice Canon 960, will the ink levels be viewable via Rendezvous?
Just wondering... I'm pretty fed up with Epson at the moment.
