9 times out of 10 I get the following message:

Safari can’t open the page “http://www.msnbc.msn.com/”.

The error was: “bad server response” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1011)

Not that MSNBC is all that great, but it's annoying. Anybody else having this problem???

OS X 10.3.2
ADSL

The difficulty can probably be explained by the first two letters of the site's name

edit: it first allowed access but now it wont.

I have been getting that too. But I find try re-loading the page and it eventually comes up.
