Does anyone know if OS X can run these applications, maybe with a different plug-in? I believe the JInitiator plug-in is only available for Windows. I'm really confused with all of this. Some places say that only JAVA is needed to access these Oracle databases, and other places say that you need a special plug-in?

I'm not on OS X yet and it's really important that I'm able to run these applications before I make the switch.

Thanks

Jinitiator is Oracle's equivalent to the Java virtual machine. As far as I know, it is currently Windows only.
