Problems with Backup 2.01

I have Backup set to backup everynight between 1:00am and 3:00am. Every morning when I get up, I see:



and multiple copies of Backup will be running, anywhere between 3 and 6 copies. After I dismiss the dialog box, they each quit. Funny thing is, the Backup in my dock hasn't launched. I have tried everything I can think of. Have done a search for everything 'backup', trashed the ones related to Backup and reinstalled. Did the same to my other computer on my network except didn't reinstall. I've trashed prefs over and over. No luck.

What's going on?
